This is a draw cut knife, ideal for all straight cuts especially when using a rule.

The angle of the blade has been set to assist with engaging as much of the cutting edge as possible into the leather. This reduces variation in the cutting line and compresses the leather early as a hold down assist, this helps when cutting thinner leather.
 
Our “seconds” stock may include knives that didn’t pass final QC standards - perhaps the finish is imperfect, or the handle wood has minor blemishes - but these are still fully functional tools.
 
The cutting edge remains excellent, the steel quality remains the same, and each knife retains the design and craftsmanship you expect from Better Together.
 
Factoring in small cosmetic imperfections, we pass on a saving to you - making it an ideal chance for leatherworkers to access high-quality blades at a more affordable price.
