The Screw Crease is a traditional saddlers tool, also known as a Creasing Iron
The new generation screw crease incorporates the original George Barnsley & Sons design but has been updated and refined to give a superior leather creasing tool of the higest quality.
The highly polished shield-shaped head is split into two halves with the distance between them controlled by a thumb screw. It has a blunt blade, once the blade is warmed it is used for imprinting lines on the surface of leather
Used by modern day leathercrafters on projects from belts and bags to wallets and key rings!
Available in either left or right handed with a choice of wooden handles all hand finished with tru-oil to bring out the woods natural grain and stunning colours
Wood choices include Beech, Walnut, Bubinga, Zebrano and Purple Heart

I had a screw crease before from another brand and never used it because I assumed I just didn't like what it does. Second time ordering from george barnsley and sons I decided to give it another chance and it didn't disappoint. This one does exactly what I want it to do, feels great in the hand with some good weight to it. You can see it's well made and definitely worth its money. Great craftsmanship again!
Order arrived within the specified time and it wow it is a lovely item. I have not yet had the chance to use it but I must say it sure look and feel very well made and good quality.
