Two versatile leatherworking knives, paired together to cover a wide range of cutting and skiving tasks. The Half Head Knife combines straight and curved cutting with controlled skiving, while the smaller Utility Knife offers excellent control for precise draw cuts.
Both knives are made in Sheffield from O1 tool steel and fitted with smooth British Beech handles.
Half Head Knife
 
The Half Head Knife is designed for both push and pull cuts, with its distinctive blade profile allowing for clean straight and curved cutting. The curved section of the blade also makes it particularly useful for controlled skiving and paring.
Utility Knife
 
Compact and easy to control, the Utility Knife is particularly well suited to draw cuts and more precise cutting work. Its simple blade profile makes it a useful general-purpose knife for a wide range of leatherworking tasks.

Care
O1 is a high-carbon tool steel and requires some care to prevent corrosion. Keep the blades clean and dry when not in use and apply a light coat of oil periodically, particularly if the knives are being stored for any length of time.
Over time, O1 steel may naturally develop a patina. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the knives.
