The Handled Bevel Point Paring Knife is one of our most popular leatherworking knives, designed specifically for thinning, trimming and paring leather. Available in left or right-handed versions, the 17° bevel provides a controlled cutting edge for accurate paring work.
 
The 3" full-tang blade is made from Sheffield O1 tool steel, hardened to 57 HRC and available in a choice of 1.5mm or 2.46mm thicknesses, both with a vibro-polished finish.
 
The ergonomically shaped handle is designed to sit comfortably in the palm of the hand, providing greater comfort and control when working. Each knife is hand-fitted with your choice of Anjan, Beech, Rosewood, Walnut or Zebrano handle scales, which are hand-sanded and finished with mineral oil.

Care
O1 is a high-carbon tool steel and requires some care to prevent corrosion. Keep the blade clean and dry when not in use and apply a light coat of oil periodically, particularly if the knife is being stored for any length of time.
Over time, O1 steel may naturally develop a patina. This is normal and will not affect the performance of the knife.
