This is a draw cut knife, ideal for all straight cuts especially when using a rule.
The angle of the blade has been set to assist with engaging as much of the cutting edge as possible into the leather. This reduces variation in the cutting line and compresses the leather early as a hold down assist, this helps when cutting thinner leather.
The blades are laser cut from either 2.5mm 14C28N stainless steel or O1 carbon steel and finished with a vibropolished surface.
The 14C28N version is available with sustainably sourced Black North American Walnut or Limited Edition Indian Rosewood handles.
The O1 version is fitted with British Beech handles.

Beautiful knife well worth the transit wait to Australia.
I was a little worried the handle wouldn't fit in my tiny hand but i was very wrong
It just fits like its custom made, combine that with Nigel's cutting style and its a wonderful knife that stays sharp and cuts beautifully.
Definitely will be buying the birds beak and half head in the future
